This onboarding job aid was requested by the organization WorldKind, to be used with their 2023 intern cohort. The job aid  introduces systems including email and project management software as well as procedures for asset development. 


Problem Addressed: 

The organization needs to onboard seven interns in a short amount of time. It is extremely important for liability reasons that all communication takes place through company email. Correct utilization of project management software is essential to ensure that tasks are completed efficiently. Additionally, the project management system contains calendars and login information for shared accounts, which must be maintained.

An additional problem with this project was developing new procedures. The SMEs from the organization were the Executive Director and the Director of Training and Development. They needed a specific video asset that their organization had not developed before, so they were requesting new procedures to be developed in the onboarding "project playbook." 

After the playbook went live, it became clear that the procedures for asset development were lacking in clarification. Because we had anticipated the need for revision, we solicited feedback from the intern participants, and used their feedback to add more detail to the procedures for asset development.
